Croatia vs Portugal Euro 2016, Highlights: Quaresma Takes POR Into Last Eight

In a match which only caught fire in the closing minutes, Croatia's Ivan Perisic hit a post with a header. Seconds later Cristiano Ronaldo's shot was saved but pushed into Quaresma's path by Croatian keeper Danijel Subasic in the 117th minute.

Ronaldo has refused to accept that Portugal are the underdogs against a Croatia side that shocked two-time defending champions Spain to top Group D. Having squeezed into the Euro 2016 knockout stages after three contrasting group stage draws, Portugal are ready to move up a gear when they face Croatia in their mouth-watering clash in Lens.

While the Croatians romped into the tournament's business end with a 2-1 win over holders Spain, the Portuguese came from behind three times in Wednesday's rip-roaring 3-3 draw against Hungary.

Ronaldo, who became the first player to score at four separate European Championships, has also been embroiled in controversy, being caught on camera throwing a reporter's microphone into a lake.
