A back-of-a-length delivery from Prince Yadav skids on and hits Phil Salt on the pad. India appeal for an LBW, but the umpire gives it not out. Ishan Kishan convinces Shreyas Iyer to review, only to burn one. Ten runs come off the over.

Prasidh Krishna also leaks runs this time! The change of ends doesn't work as the pacer concedes 15 runs in his second over. Phil Salt slams three fours. England need 107 runs in 90 balls.

Prince Yadav starts really well with two tight deliveries to Phil Salt but leaks runs in the rest of the over. Salt slams the pacer for three fours. Fifteen runs come off the over. England have got the needed momentum.

OUT! Jos Buttler is GONE! He slams Arshdeep Singh for a six down the ground and falls the very next delivery. The left-arm pacer bowls a good-length ball, angling away. Buttler gets an outside edge through to the wicketkeeper.

After Arshdeep Singh's four-run over, Prasidh Krishna concedes only three runs. He troubles Jos Buttler with some really good pace and deliveries that nip in.

Arshdeep Singh bowls the first over. He concedes a four via leg byes on the third delivery, and that turns out to be the only scoring shot of the over. India need to keep it tight to challenge England in this chase.

Good footwork from Jofra Archer to run out Axar Patel on the final delivery. He ends with brilliant figures of 2 for 20, conceding only four runs in his final over. India post 158. Another brilliant bowling display by hosts England!

A slower bouncer from Jofra Archer, and he outfoxes Washington Sundar with it. The southpaw fails to pull it properly and finds the deep fine-leg fielder. India are six down with three balls left in the innings.

Sam Curran concedes only four runs in his final over. While he doesn't pick up a wicket, he ends up with an economical spell of 0 for 24 in four overs. The final six balls are coming up. Jofra Archer will bowl them.

6, 4, 6 - This is brilliant batting from Shreyas Iyer! He first jumps out of his crease and slams a biggie over long-off. Adil Rashid bowls faster on the next ball, and Iyer cuts it fine for a four, beating the short third. On the following delivery, Iyer comes out of his crease again and hits it over long-on for a maximum. Twenty runs come off the over.

OUT! Tilak Varma departs! This is a nice comeback from Josh Tongue. The England bowlers continue to stay ahead. Right after being smashed for six, Tongue bowls a slower short ball outside off-stump and Tilak finds the backward point.

Tilak Varma slams a much-needed boundary for India on the fourth ball of the over. Josh Tongue bowls it around good length and Tilak helps it over the fine leg fence for a biggie.

Will Jacks concedes only five runs in his final over to cap off a superb spell. He returns with figures of 1 for 28 in four overs. India have 24 balls left. With Iyer at one end, they should aim to score at least 40 more.

Adil Rashid bowls a short googly, and Shreyas Iyer rocks onto the back foot and pulls it away over deep square leg for a 33-ball half-century. He then takes a single to retain strike. This has been a brilliant knock from the India captain.

OUT! Shivam Dube departs! That is the end of the struggle for the southpaw. He falls for 22 off 23 balls. Dube tries to hit a big one without getting anywhere near the pitch of the ball. He ends up edging it in the air, and the long-on fielder takes the catch running to his right.

Shivam Dube finally manages to get a boundary. The pressure was building on him with dot balls, but the southpaw finds the gap between deep mid-wicket and deep square leg for a four this time.

Sam Curran comes to bowl and keeps it economical, conceding only six singles. Shreyas Iyer is solid at one end. Only if he gets good support from Shivam Dube, India can aim to post something around 170.

Ah! That is a cheeky upper cut from Shreyas Iyer for a SIX! He looks to duck under that short ball from Jofra Archer before changing his mind at the final moment. Iyer executes it superbly as the ball sails over the third-man fence.

OUT! Oh dear, Abhishek, what have you done? The southpaw has thrown away his wicket to Rashid Khan! Another poor shot selection from an Indian batter and that puts the side in huge trouble. Abhishek tries to go across and ends up edging it in the air. Rashid runs to his left and takes a good catch. The Indian batters are not learning.

5.4 - This is a beautiful back foot punch from Shreyas Iyer for four. He waits for the Sam Curran delivery and then guides it through the gap at cover.

Ishan Kishan is GONE! Poor shot selection and he pays the price. He wants to go against the pace and angle but perishes. Josh Tongue bowls it angling away from Kishan and the southpaw gets a top-edge on his pull shot.

He removes the 15-year-old wonderkid for a second consecutive time. The southpaw ends up slicing a good-length delivery into the air, and it is caught at mid-on. With scores of 14, 13 and 15, Sooryavanshi is off to a poor start in international cricket.

Whoever faces the first ball doesn't matter to Jofra Archer as he lives up to expectations in the first over. No boundaries come in it, with Archer conceding only five runs.

Positive intent right from the beginning as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi takes strike against Jofra Archer. The game begins with a wide down the leg side before Sooryavanshi misses his pull shot and takes a single to get off strike.

This is a big moment for India's spin-bowling all-rounder Axar Patel. He plays his 100th T20I today.

"When the first time I played T20, I never imagined I would play 100 matches. This tour of England will be very special for me because, like in the second T20, I completed my 100 wickets and in the fourth T20, it's my 100th match. So it's a very special day for me and I am really enjoying the moment," Axar said in a video posted by bcci.tv ahead of the match.

"We would have won the toss and batted. Looks a very good surface. Like Shreyas said, there's a nice even spread of grass, so we'll see how it plays," said England captain Harry Brook.

Talking about his team's performance, he said, "We played awesome. We adapted well to conditions, we communicated really well, and it was a very, very good team performance."

"We're going to bat first. We are going to play like that (must-win game). We saw the fearlessness which we've been carrying for the first two games. It's just that we are not able to execute the plans as much as possible, but today, it's a fresh day, fresh start, and the boys are in pretty high spirits," said India captain Shreyas Iyer.

Talking about the surface, he said, "It looks good. It has got a decent amount of grass over the wicket. So, definitely we'll have a look how it plays from the first ball."

One change for England. They have included Rehan Ahmed for Liam Dawson. A like-for-like replacement for them.

India captain Shreyas Iyer continues his golden run at the toss. He wins yet another one and this time, Iyer opts to bat against England. Varun Chakravarthy and Harshit Rana are out due to their respective injuries, with Washington Sundar and Prasidh Krishna coming in as replacements.

We are just a few minutes away from toss time for the fourth T20I in Bristol. An important toss in front of Shreyas Iyer, as India look to avoid an unprecedented second consecutive T20I series loss.

India's batting struggles have left head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shreyas Iyer with several dilemmas ahead of the match. Will Sanju Samson get a look-in again? Will the likes of Washington Sundar and Suryansh Shedge be brought back? Will Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Axar Patel and Tilak Varma be persisted with?

Perhaps the Indian batter who is under fire the most is the team's vice-captain, Tilak Varma. Tilak's struggles against spin and short-pitched bowling have been worrying during the ongoing series, and his low strike-rate is a cause for concern. It will be interesting to see whether Tilak is given a long rope by Gambhir and Iyer.

After scores of 5, 0 and 1, India dropped Sanju Samson, giving Vaibhav Sooryavanshi his spot. It did not change the results as India lost the second and third games to England. While Sooryavanshi will continue to get the backing of the team management, the calls for Samson's return have grown louder. Will he get a game today?

Both Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Shreyas Iyer are yearning for success in England in batting and captaincy, respectively. While the southpaw has managed scores of just 14 and 13 after making his international debut, Iyer is yet to win his first game as India captain despite leading the side in five matches.

Being already 2-0 down in the five-match series, India could not afford to lose any more matches. The first contest was washed out due to rain before England registered four-wicket and 125-run victories in the second and third matches, respectively.
