TUCC star Kaunain Abbas dropped from Karnataka Twenty20 squad

Abbas had sparkled in the University Cricket Championship and was named Player of the Tournament after he lead Jain University, Bengaluru to the TUCC title.

Bangalore:

Without getting a game, Toyota University Cricket Championship star Kaunian Abbas was dropped from the Karnataka Twenty20 squad for the knockout phase of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy.

Fit-again Robin Uthappa has been included in his place  for the knockout phase to be held in Ranchi from March 25 to 31.

Abbas had sparkled in the University Cricket Championship and was named Player of the Tournament after he lead Jain University, Bengaluru to the TUCC title.

Left-arm orthodox spinner K P Appanna and right-arm medium H S Sharath have also not been considered due to injury.
