England star batsman Kevin Pietersen on Thursday enjoyed a cruise on the river Ganges with two of his teammates and tweeted their memorable experience to the world.
"On a boat trip on the river Ganges ... We are so lucky doing the things we do," tweeted Pietersen, who also posted a picture showing him standing on the deck of the boat.
Upcoming batsman Jonathan Bairstow, who along with pacer Stuart Meaker accompanied Pietersen, seemed excited to see the Gangetic dolphins.
"Very nice boat trip on the Ganges river this afternoon! Few dolphins kicking around too," he tweeted.
Bairstow too has uploaded a picture of him being flanked by two guards atop the boat.
Paceman Meaker seemed to be overwhelmed by the hospitality showered by the Indians.
"Just been on a river boat cruise on the Ganges with @kevinpp24 (Pietersen) @jbairstow21 (Bairstow). Lovely scene. The hospitality of everyone here is amazing (sic)," he posted.
The English team, which was drubbed 5-0 by India in the just concluded one-day series, has stayed back in the city to play the one-off Twenty20 match at the hallowed Eden Gardens on Saturday.
