As the contracts of all current players ends after the third season, all of them will be available for fresh bidding for the next season.

As the contracts of all current players ends after the third season, all of them will be available for fresh bidding for the next season.

Fresh auctions will take place sometime in July 2010 thereby giving adequate time to the ten teams to integrate their squads. However the modus is still undecided. Here are other necessary details:

1. New salary caps be set for the teams

2. Number of foreign players will remain at 10

3. Number of foreign players allowed on the field will remain at 4

4. There will be no ICON Player status

5. All other restrictions like catchment area and under-22 will remain as earlier

6. The new contracts will be for a period of 3 years.

7. New Squad will be applicable from 1st of Jan 2011 and will be eligible to qualify for the Champions League T20.
