Team India will don a new uniform when they take on Australia in the limited-overs series in October to begin the cricket season.
The two teams will play seven One Day Internationals and one Twenty20 international starting October 10 at Rajkot.
Indian players will be sporting new Nike blue jerseys and trousers that were unveiled on Monday. Nike is the official apparel sponsor of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
India offspinner Ravinchandran Ashwin tweeted his picture wearing the new jersey. There were few youngsters at the jersey unveiling for whom it was a dream come true.
"Surprised a few young cricketers with the new India jersey. Sure was a dream come true for them! Thanks @nikecricket @bcci #BleedBlue," Ashwin wrote on his Twitter page.
India pacer Umesh Yadav tweeted: "-The new India uniform from @nikecricket is here! Ye ladka khush ho gaya! @bcci #BleedBlue".
"Got a glimpse of the new uniform! Loved it...and so did this kid.. @nikecricket @bcci #BleedBlue," all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja wrote on his twitter page.
