The Chennai Super Kings are keen to finish with an all-win record at home in the Indian Premier League, said the team's all-rounder Dwayne Bravo after the 18-run win against Delhi Daredevils on Thursday night.
"We are looking at the other home game (their seventh and last in the league phase). It is a tremendous feeling and we want to finish it off with an all-win record at home," said the West Indian star who played a pivotal role in Thursday's victory by taking two wickets and a brilliant catch.
He attributed the team's eventual success to skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's composure even when the Daredevils were scoring at nearly 10 an over in the early part of the chase.
"Early on in their innings, they (the Daredevils) had a chance, but they started losing wickets. We kept up the pressure and mistakes were made by them."
"We had a very level-headed captain and he knows the game inside out," said Bravo in the post-match media conference.
Although joining the team after the half-way mark in the competition, Bravo, who played only in his second IPL game for the Super Kings on Thursday, said he had settled in quite nicely in the role of an all-rounder.
"So far it has been great. The management staff and the players make me feel at home. I was back home when the team progressed and it makes easier when you played with some before and playing with some now."
"It is a lucky environment and they allowed me to be myself. This is the most important thing and I have no complaints. It is a well gelled unit and it is a family," said Bravo.
