England have registered 12 sixes - their ODI record. Paul Collingwood and Owais Shah have put on 163 for the third wicket - England's highest in the ICC Champions Trophy. The said stand is their best for this wicket-position in ODIs. Paul Collingwood has posted his first fifty against South Africa, which is his 23rd in ODIs. Eoin Morgan's superb innings of 67 off 34 balls is his best in the ICC Champions Trophy. He also completed his 1,000 runs in ODIs, aggregating 1034 (ave.36.92) in 33 innings. Morgan's 26-ball fifty is the fastest in the 2009-10 ICC Champions Trophy. Smith (141 off 134 balls) has registered his eighth hundred in ODIs - a career-best. His third century against England is the second highest for a losing cause for South Africa after Herschelle Gibbs' 143 against New Zealand at Johannesburg in the 2003 World Cup. Smith became the first South African skipper to register a century in the ICC Champions Trophy. South Africa (301 for nine) have registered their highest losing total while batting second at home.
