Murali Kartik (2/28) has registered his best bowling performance in the 2009 edition of the IPL. Overall, the said performance is his second best - his best being 3 for 17 against Deccan Chargers at Kolkata last year.
Brendon McCullum's unbeaten 84 off 64 balls (his first fifty) is his best innings in the 2009 edition of the IPL.
McCullum's aforesaid knock is his second best score - his highest being 158 off 73 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bangalore on April 18, 2008.
McCullum and David Hussey were associated in a 70-run partnership for the third wicket, which is their highest against Royal Challengers Bangalore, eclipsing the 60 between the same pair at Bangalore last year.
Ross Taylor's match-winning knock of 81 not out off 33 balls is his highest innings in the IPL, surpassing the 53 off 34 balls against Chennai at Bangalore last year.
In the course of his beautiful knock, Taylor has aggregated 1000 runs in Twenty20 - 1012 (ave. 32.64), including one hundred and five fifties, in 35 matches.
