Statistical highlights of the IPL match between Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals on Thursday.

Chennai's 38-run win is their first against Rajasthan in four IPL games.

Chennai Super Kings have won two out of six played in the 2009 edition.

Rajasthan Royals have lost three out of six contested in the 2009 edition.

The net run rates of Rajasthan, Bangalore and Kolkata are in minus even playing six games each.

Rajasthan had won their first three games against Chennai - by 8 wickets at Jaipur; by 10 runs at Chennai and by 3 wickets at Mumbai in the first edition of the IPL.

Suresh Raina's 98 off 55 balls is the highest by any batsman for Chennai against Rajasthan, eclipsing the 71 by Albie Morkel at Chennai last year.

Raina's aforesaid innings is his fourth fifty in the IPL and his best ever in the competition, bettering the 55 not out off 34 balls against Kings XI at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai last year.

Suresh Raina is now the leading run-getter with 621 runs in 21 games in the IPL, overtaking Shaun Marsh's tally of 616 (ave.68.44).

Lakshmipathy Balaji (4/21) registered his second best bowling in an innings, next only to his 5 for 24 against Kings XI Mohali at Chennai on May 10,2008.

Raina got his second MOM award in the IPL.

Shane Warne has taken his tally of wickets to 26 - the most by any bowler in the IPL.
