Mark Boucher and Virat Kohli, with their 61-run stand, have equalled Bangalore's fifth wicket partnership record in the IPL. Jacques Kallis and Ross Taylor had recorded 61 against Kings XI Punjab at Kingsmead, Durban on April 24, 2009.

Gautam Gambhir, during the course of his 16, has taken his run-aggregate in the IPL to 565 at an average of 37.66, surpassing Adam Gilchrist's runs tally of 555. He has completed his 1000 runs in Twenty20, aggregating 1001 at an average of 33.36 in 34 matches.

Pankaj Singh (2/31) has recorded his best bowling performance.

Tillakaratne Dilshan has posted his second successive fifty - 67 not out off 47 balls - his best ever IPL/Twenty20 score, surpassing the 50 off 27 balls against Chennai at Kingsmead, Durban on April 23, 2009.

Dilshan is the second batsman after Matthew Hayden to have recorded two fifty-plus innings in the present edition.

Dilshan, for the first time in the IPL, has received the MOM award.

Dirk Nannes has registered his best performance in the IPL. He had failed to take a single wicket.

Kevin Pietersen and Ross Taylor were associated in a 62-run stand, which is Bangalore Royal Challengers' highest for the third wicket in the IPL, surpassing the 43 between Taylor and Kallis against Rajasthan at Bangalore on April 26, 2008.

Pietersen (37 off 25 balls) posted his highest IPL score.

Delhi Daredevils have won three consecutive games in the second edition. They have also won three successive matches against Bangalore Royal Challengers.

Delhi Daredevils and Deccan Chargers are the only two unbeaten teams in the competition, winning their first three matches in the second edition of the IPL.

Bangalore Royal Challengers became the first side to lose four matches in the second edition.

Bangalore (149 for seven) registered their lowest score against Delhi, beating their 154 for 7 at Bangalore on May 19, 2008.
