# New Zealand (103) have posted their lowest total against India in ODIs, eclipsing the 118 at Dambulla on August 25, 2010.

# New Zealand's previous lowest against India in India was 126 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on November 29, 1995.

# Ravichandran Ashwin (3/24) has recorded his career-best bowling figures.

# Ashwin is the top wicket-taker in the series - 11 at 21.90 runs apiece.

# Yusuf Pathan has recorded his best bowling performance in an ODI series, capturing 8 wickets at 16.75 runs apiece.

# Gautam Gambhir's runs' tally of 329 in five innings at an average of 109.66 is the highest by an Indian in a bilateral series against New Zealand. 

# Gambhir's aforesaid run-aggregate is the third highest by a captain in an ODI series, next only to 342 (ave.48.85) in seven ODIs by Kepler Wessels for South Africa against India in 1992-93 and 340 (ave.68.00) in five ODIs by Pakistan's Inzamam-ul-Haq for Pakistan against India in 2003-04.

# Gambhir has received the Man of the series for the first time in an ODI series.

# Yuvraj has received the Man of the Match for his all-round performance - his first against New Zealand and his 21st in ODIs.

# Parthiv Patel (56 not out off 70 balls) has recorded his best innings in ODIs - his second half-century.  His only other half-century is 53 against New Zealand at Bangalore on December 7, 2010.

# India have posted a clean-sweep (5-0) for the third time - the first two were against New Zealand by 4-0 in 1988-89 and against England by 5-0 in 2008-09.

# India enjoy a 100% winning record against New Zealand in India, winning all four ODI series.

# In terms of balls remaining (173), India have posted their biggest win over New Zealand.
