Kavem Hodge opens up his stance and shifts his weight back to cut it and does so too. He gets it off the middle of the bat but finds the fielder at point, who is in really tight. Ollie Pope goes low and grabs it to his left.  From 88-3, West Indies have slipped to 88-7.  88/7

34.3 OUT! TAKEN! A golden duck for Jason Holder on his return to the side! Things just got from bad to worse for the West Indies! Gus Atkinson bowls it shorter of a length and angles it into the right-hander on a length. The ball straightens off the deck as Jason Holder looks to tuck it across the line. The ball catches the leading edge and goes straight into the bread basket of Harry Brook at third slip. Gus Atkinson now on a hat-trick!  88/5

Comes from over the wicket and bowls it on a good length over middle and off, Alzarri Joseph looks to continue his counter attack and goes for the heave a bit too early. 30.5 OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! A superb yorker by Jayden Seales! He is thrilled to bits as he stretches his arms wide open and sets out on a celebratory run. Seales stays over the wicket and slips in a toe-crushing yorker, Zak Crawley's height works against him on this occasion. He is late to get his bat down and the ball tails in a bit to sneak past the inside edge. Goes through the gap between the bat and the pad to rattle into the leg pole. As per Ian Bishop on air, this is the 4th time in 4 games has Seales dismissed Crawley in Test cricket.  153/3

7.2 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Jayden Seales gets the first strike for the West Indies, moments before Tea. Seales gets his reward for keeping it full and making the batter drive. Stays over the wicket and tries to get the ball to shape back into the left-hander but it does not as it goes across with the over-the-wicket angle. However, that actually works in favour of the bowler as Ben Duckett gets lured into the drive and ends up getting a feather on it. The edge is snaffled safely by the keeper, Joshua Da Silva, diving low in front.  29/1

26.3 OUT! LBW! Jason Holder gets the much-needed breakthrough for West Indies! Comes from over the wicket and bowls a fullish-length delivery into the stumps, ranging into middle and leg. Ollie Pope looks to flick this one away too but fails to make the connection as his head falls over towards the off side. The ball wears him low on the toe and the umpire raises his finger. Ollie Pope sends it upstairs for a review and the UltraEdge shows no spike. The Ball Tracking confirms all three reds and the onfield call stays. England lose Pope and the review. This is not the first time in this innings or even in his career that Pope has been caught falling over to the off side while attempting the flick. He needs to work on that aspect of his batting or he could become a sitting duck for bowlers who can swing the ball into him.  123/2

66.3 OUT! BOWLED! He has done it again. He got Stokes after Drinks and now he has got Root moments before Lunch. It is all about the seam presentation from Gudakesh Motie. He lands it perfectly on the seam and gets it to angle back in. It seems like an arm ball, delivered with pace and when it lands on the seam, it looks like an in-dipper. This is landed outside off and Joe Root looks to drive it through the covers but misses it completely as he ends up playing inside the line of the ball. It zips through to knock the off stump out. Root flashes a big smile on his face and probably mutters something about the quality of that ball to Smith on his way back to the pavilion. Root departs for a well-made 68 and England are 287/6, leading by 166.  287/6

50.4 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! The short-ball ploy does work for West Indies. The on-air commentators have been talking about it for a while now, and finally the message has been passed out to the bowlers as well. West Indies strike for the first time on Day 2 to break this solid partnership. Harry Brook gets an ovation on his way back for his well-made fifty. Alzarri Joseph serves a sharp bouncer this time, on off, while flies above the shoulder level. Harry Brook hangs back and looks to go for the hook shot but only manages to lob it high up in the air off the top edge. Joshua Da Silva did not even have to move an inch behind the stumps to gather it. Harry Brook has gifted away his wicket here. Maybe, if this had been a white-ball game, Brook might have attempted the upper cut, which would have been more profitable, given the distance he was away from the ball.  244/4

Chris Woakes stays back inside the crease and tries to get his wrists work into the game, as he flicks this to deep square leg nonchalantly, although fails to get the distance on it as he hits it straight down the throat of Mikyle Louis who makes no mistake in the deep. Jason Holder is elated with this wicket. They need two more wickets to have a go with the bat again. Jason Holder serves a length ball, outside off. The ball nips away a bit off the deck. Gus Atkinson thinks he can take it on, but only manages to find a thick outside edge as he leaves his bat hanging away from the body. 89.2 OUT! RUN OUT! Bullzeye from Mikyle Louis. He has been ever present in the field and with his outstanding effort now, we see Shoaib Bashir making his way back to the pavilion. It is a full-length ball, around off. Jamie Smith swings hard and ends up slicing it towards covers. Louis comes charging in from the deep but the ball lands safely. Although, to remain on strike Jamie Smith calls in for the second run, Shoaib Bashir though is a bit late into his charge. Mikyle Louis sets himself up nicely and scores a direct hit at the non-striker's end. Interesting is the celebration to follow. Mikyle Louis runs all the way to the boundary, actually to meet his brother Jeremiah Louis, who is also in the squad, to brag about his throw. Nice to see.  367/9

8.1 OUT! BOWLED! That's gone through his defense and it is wicket number 702 in first-class cricket for the Lord of Lord's. The bowling was exceptionally relentless while the batting was matching it well, not playing too many loose shots. But good bowlers always find a way to get past the batters and Jimmy has found one again. On a good length, outside off, Kraigg Brathwaite looks to play that from the crease, not because of the length, but because he is not sure which way will the ball move. He is tentative, is late and the ball nips back, beats the inside edge and hits the top of middle. In 2017, Brathwaite was the 500th victim of Jimmy in Test cricket and he was dismissed in exactly the same fashion, albeit that was much fuller. This is the 8th time in Tests that he has got the West Indian skipper out. After a watchful opening 30 minutes, West Indies don't have much to show, as they have weathered the storm, but are just 12/1, trailing by 238!  12/1

Ben Stokes dishes a length ball, around middle and leg. The ball straightens a bit and goes on to hit Kirk Mckenzie on his back foot. The UltraEdge confirms that no bat is involved. The Ball Tracking confirms three reds and the on-field decision stands. Ben Stokes picks up his 200th wicket in Test cricket. He was trying to work up Athanaze, trying to get the ball away from the left hander and get the outside edge. He bowled dot ball after dot ball after dot ball and glorified the phrase - patience is virtue. After quite a few balls in line of the stumps, James Anderson just keeps it outside off, on a fuller length and invites Alick Athanaze to have a go at it. Athanaze falls into the trap, looking to drive but only manages a thick outside edge. It goes quick and low to the left of the keeper, Jamie Smith, who gets low to his left and takes it with both gloves. Athanaze departs for 22 from 47 balls, WEST INDIES ARE 55/5 and are still 195 behind.  55/5

Gus Atkinson dishes a short ball, around middle, which gets big on Holder, who is already a very tall lad. Jason Holder gets his blade very high and ends up chipping it in front of short leg. Anderson pitches it on a length and angles it in, on off, Joshua Da Silva plays for the ball angling into him and shapes up to work it across the line on the leg side by closing the bat's face early. The ball pitches and then nips away enough to catch the outside edge of the bat of Da Silva and Jamie Smith snaffles it with ease. 3rd wicket of the inning for Anderson. Ben Duckett is stationed there for this mode of dismissal. Duckett runs to his right and slides to take a safe catch. Atkinson holds the red cherry aloft and soaks in the applause from the crowd. 42.2 OUT! KNOCKED HIM OVER! A good change in length from Gus Atkinson. 11th scalp for him in this Test. Atkinson steams in from over the stumps and cannons a vicious yorker, aiming at the off-pole, Shamar Joseph clears his front leg for room to access the off side and swings the bat hard, but meets only thin air. The ball though, powers into the off-stump and uproots the peg. Atkinson kept bowling back-of-a-length deliveries and Joseph would have thought that this might also be a half-tracker, but a cunning length variation from Atkinson this. Straight into the blockhole. No 5-fer for Anderson in his last dance, but a highly likely one for Atkinson in both innings. England is just a scalp away from a clinical win.  103/9

47 OUT! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Gus Atkinson wraps up in style with a sensational 5-fer. He ends up with 12 wickets in his first Test. England clinically win by an inning and 114 runs. Gus Atkinson bends his back and bangs a short-pitched delivery on the stumps, Jayden Seales reacts quickly to the length, readies himself for the pull shot, and transfers the weight on the back foot. He does connect the shot well and pulls in the air towards the deep square leg area. However, he couldn't power away the ball over the fence and Ben Duckett stationed right on the boundary at deep square leg, judges the catch well and grabs it safely over his head. All good things do come to an end, they say! James Anderson ends his illustrious 21-year Test career on that note with 704 wickets to his name in 188 matches.  136/10
