Controversial India bowler S Sreesanth became a father to a baby girl on Saturday. The 32-year-old tweeted his happiness and said that both mother and daughter were doing well.
Sreesanth married Bhuvneshwari - who hails from a royal family in Rajasthan - in 2013 and the two became proud first-time parents. The fast bowler tweeted that becoming a father was 'the best feeling in the whole universe.' He also thanked his well-wishers for their prayers. "Thanks a lot for the wishes..Nd prayers..my sweet Nd beautiful baby nd my love her mother is fine...(sic)," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.
Banned for life for his alleged involvement in spot-fixing during the 2013 edition of Indian premier League, Sreesanth has been out of cricketing action since.
