Priyank Panchal was named as vice-captain Rohit Sharma's replacement in India squad for the Test series in South Africa.
The BCCI announced on Monday that Rohit Sharma had been ruled out of the Test series due to a left hamstring injury.
The former India batter said "it was a pleasure" to share "valuable insights" about the conditions Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant are likely to encounter in South Africa.
