Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Eoin Morgan (47* runs off 40 balls) helped his team register their second win of the tournament as they overhauled the target of 124 runs set by Punjab Kings (PBKS). Morgan and Rahul Tripathi (41 runs off 32 balls) stitched together a remarkable 50-run partnership and steadied the team's ship after PBKS bowlers took three early wickets of Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill and Sunil Narine. Moises Henriques, Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh started brilliantly for their side and put their team on the frontfoot in the powerplay. However, KKR batsmen showed some much-needed composure in the middle to gain maximum points from the match and take the fifth spot in the points table after playing six games. (SCORECARD)
