Parthiv to lead India in Emerging Players Tournament

Parthiv Patel will lead the Indian side in the Emerging Players Tournament that will be played in Australia in August.

Parthiv Patel will lead the Indian side in the Emerging Players Tournament that will be played in Australia in August.

The All-India Selection Committee met at Chennai earlier on Tuesday to pick the Indian team for the tournament, which will have Australia, New Zealand and South Africa too.

The tournament will be played from August 8 to 20.

The Indian squad: Parthiv Patel (Captain), Cheteshwar Pujara (Vice-Captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Sourav Tiwary, Kedar Jadhav, Naman Ojha, Abhinav Mukund, Umesh Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat, Vinay Kumar, Dhawal Kulkarni, Jaskaran Singh, Piyush Chawla, R Ashwin.
