# Prior's aforesaid innings is his third highest against Pakistan, next only to his two unbeaten knocks - 102 at Trent Bridge and 84 at The Oval in the 2010 series.

# Prior enjoys an impressive record against Pakistan - 304 in seven innings at an average of 76.00, including one century and two fifties.

# Prior has recorded his second fifty against Pakistan which is his 19th in Tests.

# Under Andrew Strauss' captaincy, Prior averages 51.17 - 2047 runs in 50 innings, including six hundreds and 13 fifties.

# Saeed Ajmal (7/55) has recorded his career-best figures in Tests, surpassing the 6 for 42 against the West Indies at Providence in May 2011.
