# No team has drawn a four-Test series after losing the first two Tests. In the 1936-37 Test series against England in Australia, Australia had lost the first two Tests but won the next three Tests and with it the series by 3-2. But then it was a five-match series.

# India have lost four Tests out of five played at Edgbaston, Birmingham while the remaining one could not produce a result.

# India (5), New Zealand (4), Pakistan (7) and Sri Lanka (2) have not won a single Test at Edgbaston.

# India had lost three successive Tests at this venue - in 1967, 1974 & 1979.  After a drawn game in 1986, India lost the 1996 Test at this venue.
