New Delhi:

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly said on Monday that the Kolkata Knight Riders team management has not shortlisted anyone as the coach.

Ganguly, however, said the team was clear that they did not need too many people as it was when John Buchanan was their coach.

"we are quite clear at KKR that we don't need too many people," he said.

When asked about the prospects of John Wright being the strongest contender, Ganguly said Wright has the reputation and the record of being a great man manager, especially in the Indian context, but no one was favourite for the job.

Ganguly further added that he had great respect for the former India coach as he transformed the way India played cricket.

Ganguly, who is also team's mentor, ducked the question when he was asked whose presentation was the most impressive.

"All of them," he said.

He said the coach should be someone who was available and worked well with the Indians.
