Bangalore:
Abdi asked for the postponement after Modi's counsel Swadeep Hora, who has been cross-examining the witnesses of the BCCI, met with an accident on Friday evening. Arun Jaitley, one of members of the committee who is also a part of the IPL governing council, agreed to Abdi's request.
At the previous hearing on November 22, Modi had raised a technical point that the panel probing charges of financial irregularities allegedly committed by him as the IPL chief did not have the mandate of the board's AGM held on September 29.
The board, subsequently, convened a special general body meeting on December 11 and appointed the same three-man panel consisting of Jaitley, Chirayu Amin and Jyotiraditya Scindia to continue the disciplinary proceedings against Modi.Â
