Geeta Basra's Lehanga for the Mehendi
"Geeta wanted an extremely traditional look for all the important occasions, so we decided to go with lehengas, attached dupatta and a crop-top blouse with an Indian work on it" reveals Archana Kochhar, in charge of creating the wedding outfits for both the bride and the groom.
She further ads that Geeta and Harbhajan knew exactly what look they wanted for the wedding. While Geeta was specific about her colours, Harbhajan's brief was classic and simple.

For the Mehendi ceremony, Geeta will be sporting a lime yellow kurti and pink lehenga with antique silver work. For the Chuda ceremony, it will be an orange lehenga made of 'ahimsa silk'. The dress is said to be a blend of a fish tail skirt with a sheer embroidered crop top. -

Geeta Basra's outfit for the Reception

Harbhajan's Jodhpuri outfit
Bhajji, on the other hand, is keeping it simple and elegant with minimal embroidery on the wedding outfit.
"An off-white, self-on-self embroidered sherwani with an ornate red sword is designed for Harbhajan Singh, who very keenly took part in the selection of his outfits. For the Gurudwara, he will sport an achkan with breeches or churidaar, and a turban. He too has oped to wear an outfit made of Ahimsa Silk for one function," details Kochhar.
The wedding celebrations will be spread over for five days, including Mehendi, Sangeet, Pheras and Reception, which will take place in Delhi on November 1. The reception is likely to see big names such as Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli and many Bollywood celebrities.
