The domestic help has alleged that when she asked for her salary, she was beaten up and imprisoned in a room for three days. She was released and was told never to come back. In the report, she has alleged that her salary has not been paid for two years. (Also read: 'She drank phenyl to escape torture')
She also said that she has been working with them and also living in their house for the past two years. Police have filed a case against Kambli and Andrea under IPC sections 342, 504, 506 and 34.
However, Kambli said the allegation was completely false. He pointed out that the maid did not have any identification documents and added that her mobile phone was in fact bought by his wife.
"There was stuff about me on her phone. She called me bald and what not in her text messages. Who is she to make such statements about me," Kambli said on Sunday.
