No Aspirations to Coach Team India, Says Rahul Dravid
Before his appointment as the India A and the U-19 coach, Rahul Dravid was linked heavily with the vacant position of head coach of Team India. Talking to the media, Dravid said that currently, he has no such aspirations.

Rahul Dravid has taken over the reins of India A and the U-19 team. The cricket fraternity of India has welcomed this move by the Board of Control for Cricket in India and have hailed it as the one that can take Indian cricket forward. (India's Tour of Bangladesh: The Outspoken Mr Shastri)
Dravid too, has always been keen to work with the youngsters and his mentoring role at Rajasthan Royals have impressed one and all. Speaking to the media, he said, " I always wanted to help the youngsters. They are at an important stage of their careers and it would be great if I can share my experience with them." (Play to Win is the New Mantra for Team India)
Expanding on his philosophy as a coach of the u-19, the ex-India captain explained, "my philosophy won't be to teach, it's just to tell them how to go to the next level."
Although Dravid has been handed the responsibility of mentoring India's youth, the Indian batting legend refused to get involved with the selectors when it comes to fast-track youngsters into Team India.
Before his appointment as the India A and the U-19 coach, the Karnataka batsman was linked heavily with the vacant position of head coach of Team India. The media speculated wildly but Dravid refused to be dragged into that debate. Talking about coaching Team India, Dravid said that currently, he has no such aspirations.
In fact, he was pleased with the way, Ravi Shastri has handled the team as a director.
"I am not thinking about the senior team, I am just looking at India A", said the ex-Indian number three, "I think Ravi and his team is doing a great job, I have no aspirations as of now."
