The two have so far been the most consistent in a tournament, where the defending champions struggled in the first phase, failing to win a single game in the UAE.
Preview: Chennai Super Kings look to avenge defeat against Kings XI
ÂÂ
Revenge would be on top of Chennai Super Kings' mind when they lock horns with a dominant Kings XI Punjab in what promises to be a mouth-watering clash of the seventh Indian Premier League at the Barabati Stadium, here on Wednesday.
It was Punjab which had scuttled Chennai's plans of a flying start in IPL 7 when the Kings XI batsmen chased down a huge total with consummate ease to launch their own campaign in style.
However, Chennai have turned into Masters of all ever since that match. Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men have won all their six matches after that opening game loss, and are currently at top of the points table. (Read full preview here)

For Chennai Super Kings, Dwayne Smith is worth every penny
ÂÂ
Chennai Super Kings have been known to make wise investments and one of their latest, Dwayne Smith is turning out to be a great buy. The West Indies all-rounder was left in the cold by Mumbai Indians, paving the way for CSK to buy him for Rs 4.5 crore in the Indian Premier League auctions in February this year.
Smith, who now forms a potent opening combination with Brendon McCullum for the Super Kings, is the only batsman to have scored four half-centuries in this year's IPL and was the hero of a thrilling victory against the Delhi Daredevils at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Monday. Smith hammered 79 off 51 balls to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. (Read full story here)
