# Darren Bravo (210 not out) has posted his career-best score in Tests, eclipsing the 195 vs Bangladesh at Dhaka in October/November 2011.
# This is Bravo's fifth hundred is his first vs New Zealand in Tests.
# Of his five centuries in Tests, three have been recorded by Darren Bravo in the third innings of the match.
# Bravo is the second batsman after Ross Taylor to register a double hundred at University Oval, Dunedin.
# Bravo's magnificent double century is only the seventh in Test annals after a team has been asked to follow on. Hanif Mohammad, Dilip Sardesai, Salim Malik, Gary Kirsten, Andy Flower and VVS Laxman had achieved the feat previously. (All the Tests could be saved thanks to the double hundreds).
# Bravo's double hundred is the fifth by a West Indian batsman in the second innings of a Test match - two by Gordon Greenidge and one each by Bravo, Basil Butcher and George Headley. Greenidge's 226 off 480 balls vs Australia at Bridgetown in April 1991 is the highest individual score in the second innings by a West Indian batsman.
# Bravo is all set to complete 2,000 runs in Tests, needing just one run.
# Bravo is the seventh West Indian number three batsman to post a double hundred away from home in Tests. Vivian Richards and Rohan Kanhai have registered two each.
# Ramnaresh Sarwan was the last number three West Indian batsman to post a double hundred in Tests - 291 vs England at Bridgetown in February 2009.
# For the second time, West Indies could record 400 after being asked to follow-on - the first instance being 463 vs India in the 2011-12 Kolkata Test.
# Deonarine's second fifty vs New Zealand is his fifth in Tests.
