Peter Fulton (136 & 110) has recorded a century in each innings of a Test match. These two innings are his only hundreds in Tests.

# Fulton is the fourth New Zealand batsman to post a hundred in each innings of a Test match, joining Glenn Turner (101 & 110 not out vs Australia at Christchurch in March 1974); Geoff Howarth (122 & 102 vs England at Auckland in March 1978) and Andrew Jones (122 & 100 not out vs Sri Lanka at Hamilton in February 1991)

# Fulton and McCullum were involved in a stand of 117 - New Zealand's sixth highest for the fifth wicket against England - their second highest at Auckland, next only to the 141 between Mark Burgess and Mike Shrimpton in March 1971.

# The above pair has faced just 101 balls to post 117 at a run-rate of 6.95 - New Zealand's best ever for the fifth wicket in Tests, eclipsing the 4.73 by Craig McMillan and Mark Richardson against Bangladesh at Hamilton in December 2001.(minimum 100)
