The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is mulling to introduce an IPL-like, franchise-owned tournament in the near future.

The MCA Managing Committee today decided to invite presentations from two parties on the subject before taking a call, according to association sources.

"One of the presenters would be Carlton Saldanha (a former Karnataka Ranji Trophy player)," sources said.

Saldanha was involved in conducting Karnataka Premier League (KPL) earlier this month in Bangalore.
