New Delhi:
Modi said that he has spoken to Bopara over phone and the England cricketer has assured him his participation in the Twenty20 league starting March 13.
"Just spoke to Ravi Bopara -- he is looking forward to coming to India. All the news about him not coming and comments are completely false," Modi said on his Twitter page.
Earlier, Bopara was quoted was saying as saying that he had delayed his trip to India indefinitely, saying even though cricket meant everything for him, it was "not worth dying for".
"Cricket is my living and in many way my life. But it is not worth dying for," Bopara had said.
Bopara was worried with Reg Dickason`s report in which the security expert raised some serious concerns.
