Board officials said the media had not been allowed entry into the academy where the Pakistani players started their training on Friday.

He said not only the media, but anyone not connected with the academy or the camp was not allowed entry into the NCA because of security reasons.
Because of the unusual security precautionary measures, captain Shoaib Malik was forced to come out of the academy to talk to the waiting journalists.
"Malik spoke to the media outside the academy today. The media was told set up their cameras near the shops on the outer side of the Gaddafi stadium walls," another official said.
