Pakistan, replying to Sri Lanka's first innings score of 300, were 118-5 when rain ended play on the scheduled third day of the first Test in Galle on Friday. Catch all the live cricket score and live updates of the match here: SCORECARD

Asad Shafiq was unbeaten on 14 and Sarfraz Ahmed was on 15 with the tourists trailing by 182 runs with five wickets in hand.

Earlier, opener Kaushal Silva hit 125 before being ninth out in Sri Lanka's innings which ended during the post-lunch session.

Pick of the Lankan bowlers was Perera with four wickets however there was not much to show from them on the bowling front. We will now see the reply from the Sri Lankan batsman.

Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Khan then took it away from the Sri Lankans as Sarfraz played some good aggressive shots to put the Lankans on the back foot. The Wicket-Keeping batsman missed on a century by 4 runs. Asad Shafiq guided the Pakistanis towards a good lead.

Great batting by Pakistan as they take a lead of 117 on the 4th day post tea. It all began slowly as the top order were bundled out for single digit scores. In came the experienced Younis Khan and Misbah-Ul-Haq who steadies the ship with a good partnership before both departed cheaply.
