Nitish Rana has to be given the credit as well for keeping his calm and dispatching the loose balls whenever he got the opportunity to do so. Kolkata would be kicking themselves, they had the edge for the most part but lost it in the last three overs as they missed some crucial chances and that ultimately cost them the game. Narine, Woakes and Kuldeep too kept the pressure on the hosts but the home side took it away from them in the end and opened their account in this year's league in a grand fashion.
