Indian cricketers have always made for interesting pairs with Bollywood actresses. When it emerged last year that rising Team India batsman Virat Kohli was dating bubbly Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, almost each and every cricket fan in India took notice and every update on the couple slowly became an object of regular masala news. There is a new 'twist' to the tale, however, after Kohli's thunderous 72-run knock against South Africa took India to the final of the ICC World Twenty20 tournament where they face Sri Lanka on Sunday. English cricketer Danielle Wyatt has added more 'spice' to Virat's love-life by asking him to marry her on Twitter.

Wyatt, who has made both her T20I and ODI debuts against the Indian women's team and will turn 23 later this year, tweeted "Kholi marry me" soon after India's semifinal match against South Africa, immediately drawing a string of interesting responses.

Although there was a clear spelling error made in Kohli's name by Wyatt, fans on the social media site immediately volunteered to inform her that the young cricketer was "taken" by the Bollywood bombshell. Wyatt, however, was unwilling to take a no for an answer and replied, "Nah he ain't".

International cricketers and their handsome looks have caught several successful women around the world off-guard with former Pakistan cricketer Imran Khan being a big hit among ladies in his prime with his larger-than-life image. Kohli seems to be next on their hit list!
