Virat Kohli is arguably one the most popular cricketer going around these days, but when WWE star John Cena posted a pic of the Indian batting machine, few fans were left scratching their heads.
Cena posted a picture of a young Kohli wearing India's ODI jersey with the words 'Bleed Blue' emblazoned in the picture, which had a completely blue background.
Kohli's popularity has surely reached parts of the world where few cricketers have traversed before. But the most optimist of fans will know that cricket is not really a popular sport in the United States.
So why did John Cena post this picture?
Well, a quick read of the wrestler's Instagram descriptor might just give you a few clues.
"John Cena: Welcome to my Instagram. These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy."
WWE fans will know, Cena was drafted into 'SmackDown' - the 'blue' brand of WWE, while the other is called 'RAW' - signified by the colour red.
Cena has quite a few pictures posted on his Instagram post which pay tribute to the 'blue' and 'red' of WWE.
Besides, the Kohli post, the other notables ones pay tribute to one particular scene of the movie 'Matrix' - where the character 'Morpheus' offers a choice of a blue and a red pill to another character in the movie 'Neo'.
