# David Warner and Virender Sehwag were involved in a stand of 146 for the opening wicket - Delhi's highest for any wicket in the IPL history, eclipsing the 133 for the second wicket between Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan against Deccan at Delhi on May 15, 2008.
# The previous best opening stand for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL was 115 between Gautam Gambhir and Sehwag against Chennai Super Kings in 2008.
# The 146-run stand is the highest for the opening wicket in IPL-4 and the fourth best for any wicket in the IPL history.
# Adam Gilchrist (1371 at an average of 27.42 in 51 games) has eclipsed Jacques Kallis' tally of 1365. He is now third in the list of the top run-getters, next only to the 1492 by Suresh Raina and 1411 by Sachin Tendulkar.
# The top three run-getters for Punjab in the IPL 4 are Paul Valthaty (261), Shaun Marsh (179) and Adam Gilchrist (151).
