Dhoni hurt his elbow while batting against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the match on Tuesday. Shane Bond was bowling at that time. Dhoni was in fact Man of the Match as well, after his unbeaten knock of 66.
Suresh Raina will captain the Super Kings in Dhoni's absence.
