Kings XI Punjab skipper George Bailey cautioned his players against complacency as they prepare to lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League here on Wednesday.
"I think they have got a very strong side, I don't think they have any obvious weakness. They have got a strong batting line-up and they have got one of the best bowling line-ups. It is going to be a tough contest against them," he told reporters at the pre-match press conference on Tuesday. (Read: Kings XI Punjab and their big four)
Bailey said his team continuously tries to improve and does not think it needs to do anything differently. (Read: Punjab beat Bangalore by 32 runs)
'Team's getting better'
"Regardless of a win or loss we are always trying to get better. In the last game (vs KKR), we probably lost too many wickets in the middle. When we tried to launch at the end, we were 5 or 6 down when we would rather be 2-3 down, which made it harder to try and attack their best bowlers."
"To be honest, I don't think we bowled too badly. They batted well. I don't think we have to do anything too much different but we are always trying to get better," he said.
Asked if his team needed a wake-up call in the form of a defeat following successive victories, he said the team needs to perform well in every game.
"I guess any time you lose, it is a refresher that any team can beat any team. So, it is a good reminder that no matter how well you are playing, on any given day, you have got to turn up and play your very best," he said.
