"I am feeling fit now. I am raring to go at the bowlers. Whenever given an opportunity, I won't miss the chance of playing," he said here on the sidelines of the ongoing J P Atray Memorial cricket tournament.
Playing for Mukesh Ambani-owned Relaince 1 team, Sehwag made his comeback to the cricket field today against BPCL, but failed to open his account, dismissed by Bhavin Thakur.
Sehwag also said that he will play for Reliance 1 team if it reaches the quarterfinal stage of the tournament.
The right-hander has been out of action for almost four months after undergoing a shoulder operation following an injury he sustained during the second edition of the Indian Premier League in South earlier this year.
The injury also saw Sehwag miss the Twenty20 World Cup in England, the one-day series series in the West Indies and the recently-concluded the tri-nation ODI Compaq Cup in Sri Lanka. He is also out of India's sqaud for the Champions Trophy in South Africa, starting September 22.
