Sachin Tendulkar is the first player to post three fifties in a row in the IPL - 71 not out off 48 balls against Kolkata; 72 off 52 balls against Chennai and 55 off 43 balls against Deccan.
Sachin Tendulkar's aggregate of 303 at an average of 60.60 in the third edition of the IPL is bettered oly by Jacques Kallis (310). He is the only one to record four fifties in the third edition of the IPL.
Tendulkar, in the course of his 55, has completed his 1,000 runs in Twenty20, aggregating 1053 at an average of 39.00 in 31 matches, including nine fifties.
Harbhajan (3/31) became the first bowler for Mumbai to bag 25 wickets (ave.18.76) in the IPL
Harbhajan became the first all-rounder for Mumbai to post a 40-plus and capture three wickets in the same IPL match. He has received his second Man of the Match award in the IPL.
Harbhajan's brilliant knock of 49 not out off 18 balls is his career-best innings in Twenty20.
Harbhajan's batting strike rate of 272.22 is the second highest for Mumbai in the IPL - the highest being Sanath Jayasuriya's 282.35 (48 not out off 17 balls) against Kolkata at Mumbai on May 16, 2008.
Harbhajan's aforesaid knock is the best by number nine batsman in the IPL.
Harbhajan and McLaren shared an unbroken stand of 53 for the eighth wicket - a record in the IPL.
Zaheer Khan (3/21) has registered his best bowling figures in the IPL.
Rudra Pratap Singh (3/31) has recorded his best performance in the third edition of the IPL. He has taken his wickets' tally to 44 at an average of 23.88 in 36 matches, extending his IPL record.
Pragyan Ojha (2/24) has registered his best performance in the third edition of the IPL.
Gilchrist (39 catches + 13 stumpings) became the third wicketkeeper after Kamran Akmal (69) and Morne van Wyk (61) to complete 50 dismissals in Twenty20.
Gilchrist, with 32 dismissals (20 catches + 12 stumpings), is the leading wicketkeeper in the IPL, eclipsing Dinesh Karthik's tally of 31 dismisisals (21 catches + 10 stumpings). His tally of 12 stumpings is also an IPL record.
Gilchrist's tally of seven dismissals in the 2010 edition is also the highest.
Mumbai became the first team to post five wins in the third edition of the IPL.
