Nehra has been adjudged the Man of the Match for the second time in ODIs. - his first award was against England for claiming six for 23 at Durban on Feb.26, 2003.
Nehra became the 13th Indian bowler to capture 100 wickets or more - his victim being Brendon McCullum.
Nehra joins Anil Kumble, Javagal Srinath, Ajit Agarkar, Kapil Dev, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Venkatesh Prasad, Manoj Prabhakar, Sachin Tendulkar, Irfan Pathan, Ravi Shastri and Sourav Ganguly in the 100-wicket club for India.
Nehra's feat of claiming 100 wickets in 77 ODIs is the sixth joint fastest for India. Irfan Pathan (59), Zaheer Khan (65) and Ajit Agarkar (67) have taken least number of matches to complete 100 wickets. Jesse Ryder has registered his second successive duck - one each against Sri Lanka and India - both at Colombo RPS. These are his only two ducks in ODIs. Yuvraj Singh (3/29) has produced his best performance against New Zealand, eclipsing the 2 for 24 at Colombo RPS on July 26, 2001.
Yuvraj's aforesaid performance is his second best against a Test nation, next only to the 4 for 28 against England at Indore on November 17, 2008.
Daniel Vettori's 25 is his second highest score against India, next only to the 26 not out at Napier on March 3, 2009.
Neil Broom (21) has posted his highest score against India, eclipsing the 2 at Napier on March 3, 2009.
