From nicknames to tattoos, Virat Kohli, the darling of Indian cricket fans, came up with some interesting answers during a ViratFanBox event in Gurgaon on Thursday.
The much-travelled Delhi boy, who is romantically linked to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, revealed he is yet to see the famous Taj Mahal in Agra and never been to Vaishno Devi, a popular pilgrimage spot for North Indians.
Kohli's growing popularity is being cashed in by his agents and in his first interaction with fans, the 27-year-old charmed all his way through much like sweet cover drives.
One of the two cricketers in ESPN's Top 100 sportspersons in the world - MS Dhoni is the other - Kohli, a style icon of sorts, revealed the number of tattoos he has.
"(I have) eight, because the tattoos on my left hand are not connected yet. But once everything is done, then it would become three," Kohli revealed.
In sensational form during the IPL, Kohli revealed that he has "50-60 nicknames."
"My teammates call me 'Cheeku', but at home my family has given me too many nicknames. Your mum would call you something and then your brother and sister would call you something else.
"But, yes they call me 'Veeru' at home mostly. I have some 50-60 names. Whatever comes to their mind and heart, but mostly, Veeru," Kohli said.
Kohli spoke on the influence his late father and brother had on his life and cricket career. Kohli's dad passed away when he was playing a Ranji Trophy match for Delhi.
"My brother and my father used to be involved in my training. They would take me to my practice every day. My coach has been a big support. I have been practising with the same coach since I was eight," Kohli said.
At the end of the day, Kohli remains an aggressive cricketer who hates to lose. He had a message for his fans - learn from mistakes and quickly.
"Mistakes are going to happen, but then it's about how much time you have in between those mistakes. They shouldn't be repetitive," Kohli said, showing signs of his growing maturity on and off the field.
