Things could go from bad to worse for spinner Harbhajan Singh as media reports suggest that the turbanator could be dropped from India's limited overs side which will play one T20 and 5 One Day Internationals.
The squad, which will be announced over the weekend, is expected to feature five pace bowlers with two spinners. The likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and Amit Mishra are waiting in the ranks and Harbhajan's less than lethal bowling off late may well make him the third choice spinner for Team India.
Harbhajan will miss the remainder of the Test series against England after an abdominal tear that he sustained during the Nottingham Test where he bowled only 13.4 overs. He has only taken two wickets in the two Tests of the England series and has shown mere glimpses of the man who once showed a great hunger for wickets.
Pragyan Ojha has been called in to replace the turbanator in the Test squad but he is unlikely to see a first team spot considering that the likes of Amit Mishra have been on the waiting list despite showing good performances on the West Indies tour.
