Indian batting stars Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman rose a rung each to be placed at 13th and 15th positions respectively in the latest ICC Test batsman rankings.
Gautam Gambhir continues to be India's highest ranked player being steady at fourth spot in the list, which also has explosive opener Virender Sehwag at number 20.
Pakistan skipper Younus Khan replaced West Indies' prolific batsman Shivnarain Chanderpaul at the top of the table.
