Former Kerala Ranji Player K R Krishna Varma died after falling off a moving train at Vaikom in Kottayam.

Former Kerala Ranji Player K R Krishna Varma died after falling off a moving train at Vaikom in Kottayam.

The mishap occurred on Saturday while he was on his way to Palakaad from his residence at Pandalam, Kerala Cricket Association sources here said.

50-year-old Varma was a member of Ranji Trophy squad in 1986 and was in the under 19 and under 22 squad of kerala during 1979-82.

He was working as a coach in Palakkad and leaves behind his wife and a daughter.
