The England and West Indies cricket boards announced on Wednesday that the teams will play two NatWest International T20 matches later this season. The matches will be held at The Kia Oval on Friday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 25th.
Surrey Chief Executive Richard Gould was excited about the matches, "Surrey CCC is really pleased to be able to host these games at the Kia Oval in what will be a colourful and exciting end to the international summer. T20 cricket is very popular at the Kia Oval, as we have seen this year, with record breaking crowds coming to see the Surrey Lions.
The authorities are also doing their bit to ensure that maximum people come to watch the matcn. "We want both games to be played in a friendly party atmosphere with a large turnout from local residents in Lambeth and London, which is why tickets have been priced from only £25, with U16 tickets on sale for £1", said Gould.
