Had it not been a direct hit, Root would have survived. Just when Joe Root was getting along his innings has been cut short. Brilliant work from Roston Chase! Cornwall will be a relieved man as he put him down on the last ball of Gabriel's last over. Perhaps Shannon decided he won't take the help of anyone else and do the job all by himself. Another peach of a delivery. He bowls it on a length on off and makes the ball jag back in. Pope looks to flick but this ball is just too good for him. Brilliant exhibition of Test match bowling from the pair of Roach and Gabriel this morning. Good length ball once again around off, this ball would have troubled the best of the batters so this was always going to be too good for Archer. He looks to defend but gets a thick outside edge which once again goes low to second slip and the skipper there with his bucket hands takes another one.  280/8

He has changed the dynamics of the session and the innings with his blistering 62 off just 45 balls, which has once again put England in the ascendancy. He though will be disappointed with his dismissal. A low full toss on off from Chase. It was there to be put away and Broad gets down on one knee to do so. The nip-backer, as it is always called when Stewy bowls. On a length, outside off, Chase looks to stay back and defend. But the ball nips back in and stays low a touch as well. This is just Day 2, so cannot really blame Chase for playing back. Hits Chase on the knee roll as he misses his defense and there is an appeal. Not from Broad. He celebrates first, then as if like an obligation, turns back and asks umpire Kettleborough, who already has his finger up. Now now, Stewy, you don't want to be spending the evening in dad's office, do you? As per the rule, a bowler needs to appeal before celebrating, if it involves the decision of the umpire. His 495th Test victim. Legendary! Good length ball around off and it comes back in. Cornwall looks to play it across the line as he looks to flick. He misses and gets hit on the pads. Broad goes up in appeal along with his teammates and the umpire agrees. Cornwall decides to take the review. Replay rolls in and Ultra Edge first shows no involvement of bat. Time for the Ball Tracker and it shows three reds. Cornwall has to walk back and England just two wickets away from batting again.  188/8

Holder goes up in a confident appeal and the umpire agrees with him and raises his finger. Sibley has a word with his partner and decides to opt for the review. Proud moment for Broad, his friends and family. Broad bowls goes fuller on off, the ball comes back in and also keeps low after pitching. Brathwaite looks to defend but misses and gets hit low on the back foot. Broad and his teammates go up in appeal and the umpire raises his finger. He has enjoyed bowling to left-handers and has more often than not won the battle against them. Nothing different here. Terrific delivery from Broad. He comes in and bowls it slightly fuller on off, Campbell thinks it will come with the angle but goes the other way. It takes the fat outside edge of his willow and goes straight to first slip. Skipper, Joe Root there makes no mistake and takes a relatively easy catch. Just the start England would have wanted. Nightmare beginning to the chase for the Caribbean nation.  0/1

3.1 OUT! Caught behind! Two wickets in no time for Broad and make that victim number 499 for him in Tests. He was angry on being dropped from the first Test and he has guided that anger in the right place. The night watchman does not survive the day to see the night. Excellent delivery. It would be good for majority of the top order batsmen, it was going to be too good for the night watchman. Broad bowls it full around off and the ball shapes away a bit. Roach looks to defend but the ball kisses his outside edge and goes straight into the mitts of Buttler. Can he end the day now with wicket no. 500?  6/2

18.3 OUT! Caught! Once again Hope gets a start and throws it away. A problem far too frequent in the recent years in the longest format. West Indies in big trouble here and have lost both their overnight batsmen. Woakes gets into the wicket column. Woakes bowls it slightly shorter outside off, Hope looks to pull it but ends up hitting it off the upper half of his bat. The ball goes high in the air in front of mid off. Three players are coming for it but Broad wants to be part of the action so he calls it out loudly. He keeps his eyes on the ball and takes a good catch. Hope's struggle in the longest format continues and there will be a lot of questions asked and he will have to retrospect and think, was that shot really necessary?  71/4

21 OUT! Caught! Half the side back in the hut for West Indies! Woakes has his second and the tourists are surrendering without much of a fight here. Good length ball outside off, it nips in just a bit. Brooks looks to drive it towards mid on but without any foot movement and away from his body. The ball shapes in and kisses the inside edge as it goes low to the left of Buttler. He takes an easy catch behind the stumps. Looks like the only way West Indies can save this Test match is by looking up at the skies but at the moment they are not helping the tourists.  79/5

26.2 OUT! Run Out! The last thing West Indies needed was a run out and that is what has happened here. Excellent work from Dom Bess! Good length delivery on off, Blackwood plays it towards point and looks for a single. There is a bit of hesitation but they decide to go for it. Bess at backward point runs to his right, gets to the ball and turns. He has to score a direct hit as Buttler has not reached the stumps and Bess does hit the stumps. Excellent from the spinner. Chase is well short of his crease and the umpire does not even go upstairs. Chase does not look back and continues his walk to the pavillion. Brilliant from Bess, he has not had much to do but he has shown his concentration and has done a job when called upon albeit in the field.  87/6

37.1 OUT! CAUGHT! That is all over! Short of a length delivery on leg, Blackwood looks to pull but gets a faint edge. It goes towards the keeper where Jos Buttler dives to his left and takes a good catch. ENGLAND WIN THE MATCH BY 269 RUNS AND WIN THE SERIES 2-1!  129/10

Good length ball pitching on off and middle and nipping back in. Holder looks to play it straight but misses and gets hit on the pads. Woakes and co. go up in appeal and the umpire raises his finger. Holder decides to signal the 'T' straightaway. Only an inside edge could probably save him there. Replay rolls in and Ultra Edge shows no involvement of bat. Ball Tracker then comes and brings bad news for Holder as it shows three reds. The skipper departs and along with him goes the tiny tinker of Caribbean hopes of survival.  99/7

34.1 OUT! LBW! No need to review as it looks plumb! Another one bites the dust and this time it is Dowrich. Woakes has his 4th of the innings and this has been a fantastic spell from him. Picked up from where Broad left off. Fuller around off and nipping back in, Dowrich moves across and looks to defend but he misses and gets hit on the pads. The England players go up in appeal and the umpire raises his finger. Dowrich does not even consider about the review and follows the marching orders.  117/8

34.5 OUT! LBW! Woakes joins the party and gets a 5-fer! Cornwall does not last long and a very tough Test match for him comes to an end. Poor footwork from Cornwall. Good length ball on off and angling in. Rahkeem looks to play but with no foot movement and gets trapped in the crease. The ball hits him flush on the pads. Appeal for LBW and the umpire gives Cornwall his marching order. He too does not review and walks to the pavilion.  119/9
