New Delhi:
Some unidentified miscreants stole important documents of Indian cricketer Ishant Sharma from his car here, police said on Friday.
Sharma, along with his cousin, went to a gym Thursday evening at East Patel Nagar in central Delhi, a police officer said.
On returning, Sharma found the window of his car, Volkswagen Polo, broken. A bag containing important documents, including a passport, were missing, the officer said.
Police have registered a case of theft at the Ranjit Nagar police station.
Sharma told police that there was no cash in the bag.
"It is a work of local miscreants. We have rounded up a few of them and hope to nab the culprits," said the officer.
