Dhoni tries badminton at Chandigarh academy
Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and pacer R P Singh on Wednesday tried their hands at badminton with some youngsters at an academy.

Making the most of their break ahead of a gruelling cricket schedule, Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and pacer R P Singh on Wednesday tried their hands at badminton with some youngsters at an academy here.
The duo, here to play for Air India Blue in the on-going BCCI Corporate Cup, reached the indoor stadium at Sector 42 in the city and tried their hands against young players training there.
Dhoni and Singh had a long session of badminton in the indoor stadium which was full to capacity.
"Dhoni and Singh played Badminton with the boys of academy for about two hours," Academy coach Satish Bhatia, a former Olympian and a former national player of badminton said.
"Our boys were proud to have Dhoni and R P Singh here," he said. Both of them are good Badminton players, especially Dhoni who is playing this game since childhood," he added.
Dhoni partnered under-14 state champion Arjun Verma in one of the game and also defeated their opponents, Bhatia said.
"I was excited to partner Dhoni," Arjun said. "Both Dhoni and R P Singh are very friendly persons," he added.
