Cricket South Africa has clarified the dates for their tour of Sri Lanka in 2015 which has already been postponed.

Johannesburg:

Cricket South Africa says the Proteas' already-postponed three-test series in Sri Lanka will be played in June and July 2015 instead of May and June.

CSA clarified the dates on Thursday, after initially stating the series would be a month earlier.

The countries earlier agreed to postpone the tests from next year to allow Sri Lanka to play a tri-series with India and the West Indies, and avoid a clash with the Sri Lankan Premier League Twenty20 tournament.

South Africa will still play five one-day internationals and three T20 games in Sri Lanka next year as planned.

Top-ranked South Africa is currently preparing for a three-test series in Australia.
