BCCI President congratulates Team India
Cricket Board President Shashank Manohar congratulated Team India for winning the Test series against Sri Lanka 2-0 to become the world No 1 Test side.

Cricket Board President Shashank Manohar on Sunday congratulated Team India for winning the Test series against Sri Lanka 2-0 to become the world number one side in the longer format of the game.
"Mr Shashank Manohar, President BCCI and Mr N Srinivasan, Hony Secretary BCCI, congratulate the Indian team for winning the Test series against Sri Lanka 2-0. The Indian cricket team now stands at the top of the ICC Team Rankings," a BCCI release said.
Indian today became the number one Test side for the first time in its history, dislodging South Africa in the ICC rankings.
The innings and 24-run win over Sri Lanka in the third Test in Mumbai gave India a 2-0 series triumph and five rating points from the three-match rubber, taking their overall tally to 124, two rating points more than South Africa.
